    Phase 1 Large Grant holder Gill Valentine discusses the value of the research both as an impartial analysis of history in the making, and its value to organisations dealing with conflict resolution involving issues of cultural values, sexual orientation and religious belief. She also describes initial findings that there is a disparity between what is happening at local and parish level and what is being debated at the levels of institutions and leadership.     Phase 1 Small Grant holder Robert Hoffmann of Nottingham University describes to Norman Winter the experimental method using simple decision-making tasks in a study of trust behaviour and its relationship to religious affiliation and degrees of religiosity.
